Description
The California High-Speed Rail Authority seeks janitorial services for its 51,119-square-foot office. The scope includes a one-time startup deep cleaning followed by weekday cleaning after business hours, monthly window cleaning, and additional services as needed. The contractor must provide the labor, supervision, cleaning supplies, and equipment, and perform floor care, restroom and kitchen cleaning, disinfection, waste removal, and related tasks. The agreement is scheduled to begin January 1, 2027, or upon approval, whichever occurs later, and run through December 31, 2029, with one 12-month extension option. Bidders must submit a sealed bid by mail or hand delivery. The bid package includes the required certification, cost, payee, subcontractor, and other listed bid documents. Small-business utilization and disabled-veteran business enterprise participation goals apply; a minimum 3% DVBE participation is required when the total bid is at least $10,000. The contractor must also maintain Department of Industrial Relations registration and meet specified janitorial employee wage and benefit requirements.
