Description
The City of Puyallup is soliciting sealed bids for removal and disposal of flood-deposited silt and sediment along approximately 300 linear feet of the Puyallup Riverwalk Trail. The bid schedule includes roadway excavation and haul for an estimated 250 cubic yards, mobilization, final cleanup and restoration, temporary traffic control, and erosion and water-pollution control. The contractor must provide scale-weight trucking tickets and the disposal site's name, address, and GPS coordinates. Work includes protecting the original top of bank and surrounding vegetation, maintaining public safety with barricades and fencing, protecting stormwater facilities, obtaining required permits, locating utilities, coordinating staging and access, controlling dust and mud, and restoring disturbed areas. The work must be physically complete within 10 working days after the Notice to Proceed. A bid proposal form, bid security, non-collusion affidavit, wage-law compliance certification, subcontractor list, and bidder-qualification information are required with the bid; performance and payment bonding and insurance are required after award.
