Description
NASA's Shared Services Center requires precision cleaning and calibration services for select mission-critical Kennedy Space Center flight and ground support hardware. The contractor must clean hardware according to NASA-provided specifications, standards, and contamination-control requirements; calibrate gauges, load pins, and other measurement hardware; follow handling, packaging, clean-side transfer, and contamination-control protocols; and coordinate pickups, deliveries, and schedules with designated personnel. Deliverables include cleaned and calibrated hardware meeting acceptance criteria, an item-specific certification package with traceable quality records, and status reporting. NASA will furnish specialized soft goods, seals, gaskets, kits, proprietary hardware, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria. This is a special notice and sources-sought-style capability request, not a request for quotes; the agency currently intends to award on a sole-source basis to Precision Fabricating & Cleaning Company, Inc., and will use responses only to determine whether competition is warranted.
