Description
JEA is soliciting professional environmental consulting services related to byproducts and solid waste generated at circulating fluidized bed and other turbine power generation facilities. The work will support the Northside Generating Station and former St. John's River Power Park, with tasking determined as needed. Potential services include designing environmental and material-characteristics testing programs; coordinating with environmental regulatory agencies; preparing conceptual site models, site assessment work plans and reports, remediation plans, pilot and treatability studies; conducting soil, groundwater, sediment, surface-water, air, and fugitive-dust investigations; designing, installing, redeveloping, surveying, and sampling groundwater monitoring wells; preparing haul-road stormwater management plans and pond-liner repair documentation; and preparing technical reports under Florida solid-waste-management and electrical-power-plant-siting requirements. Collected data, aerial photography, and other information must be processed into final information and engineered products delivered to JEA.
