Sussex County is expanding its pool of qualified firms to provide specialized, as-needed services supporting the Department of Health and Human Services’ oversight of opioid settlement fund projects. Potential services include opioid misuse prevention campaigns, school- and community-based prevention, training, risk assessments, early identification and referral, outpatient treatment for co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, family counseling, peer support, recovery services, housing and transportation support, technical assistance, first-responder training, and related behavioral health services. Respondents must demonstrate relevant expertise, evidence-based practices, appropriate licenses and certifications, organizational capacity, and the ability to meet reporting and program-evaluation requirements. Proposals must include a cover letter, qualifications and experience, services offered, public-funds and budget-tracking experience, at least three references, fee information, required forms, and copies of applicable licenses, certifications, and supporting documentation. The resulting open-ended pool has no guaranteed minimum or maximum value; individual assignments will be separately solicited and authorized by purchase order.
