Description
The United States Space Force is soliciting a small-business contractor to remove and properly dispose of existing carpet and furnish and install new brand-name Milliken commercial carpet tile in Buildings 938, 1060, and 1350 at Patrick Space Force Base. The work includes carpet, adhesive, installation, furniture and item moving or lifting, substrate preparation, cove-base replacement around carpeted sections, specified transitions, field verification of electrical outlets, phased coordination with Government personnel, cleanup, and waste disposal. Existing tile sections are generally not to be replaced unless specifically specified, and mechanical and communications rooms are excluded except where otherwise indicated. The contractor must provide a quote for the entire work effort, with delivery completed within 90 days after award. The Government will not provide a forklift, although an alternate price may be submitted separately; the primary evaluation will consider technical acceptability, price, delivery timeline, and past performance. The acquisition is a firm-fixed-price, total small-business set-aside, subject to the USAF Carpet II program and availability of appropriated funds.
