Description
Berks County, Pennsylvania is soliciting bids for the supply and delivery of food provisions to several county facilities, including the Berks County Jail System, Berks County Heritage Center, Berks County Youth Center, and possibly the Berks Heim Nursing and Rehabilitation. The contract is for a 12-month term with options for two additional one-year renewals. The solicitation includes a detailed price schedule (Attachment M) with estimated quantities for a wide range of items, including meats, poultry, canned goods, beverages, kosher meals, gluten-free products, dairy items, snacks, and ice cream. Deliveries are required on a weekly basis, with specific delivery schedules for each facility, and must be made FOB Destination. The County reserves the right to award a single contract or multiple contracts on a group or line-item basis.
