Description
Hillsborough County intends to award a sole-source, one-time purchase of air and light trucks to Ten-8 Fire & Safety, LLC. The apparatus will provide rapid filling of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus tanks, scene lighting, electrical power, and equipment for extended or complex emergencies. The estimated purchase value is $1,878,888. The notice is not a request for competitive proposals or bids. Interested contractors may challenge the intended award by submitting clear and convincing information demonstrating that bona fide competition exists. The procurement is expected to use cooperative contract AM2XSB10, administered by the Houston-Galveston Area Council, in part.
