Description
The City of Tampa is soliciting sealed bids for two types of black low-density polyethylene trash can liners: 33-gallon liners measuring 33 by 40 inches, 2.0 mil thickness, packaged 250 per case, with 110 cases listed; and 44-gallon liners measuring 23 by 17 by 48 inches, 3.0 mil thickness, packaged 100 per case, with 520 cases listed. Substitutions are not permitted for the specified items, and bidders must identify the manufacturer or trade name and identifying number where applicable. The materials are to be furnished on an as-needed, when-needed basis during the award period, with delivery within five working days after receipt of order. The award period is one year from the effective award date, with two additional one-year renewals by mutual written agreement and up to three unilateral 30-day extensions. The solicitation also requires original manufacturer warranties at shipment, a written replacement procedure, and a minimum 365-day defect guarantee. Bidders must complete the required vendor-response information and submit the required DMI subcontracting forms, statutory-provisions affidavit, bidder's affidavit, and any conditional public-records or criminal-history documentation applicable to their responses.
