Description
The Chicago Transit Authority is soliciting non-negotiable bids for grade-level industrial window cleaning at rapid transit stations and related facilities across its rail system, including interior and exterior windows, elevator and escalator glass, canopies, frames, fascia, panels, and surrounding surfaces. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, safety equipment, and qualified personnel; comply with CTA and OSHA safety requirements; and perform scheduled, as-needed, and emergency cleaning services. The contract may include locations and cleaning frequencies added or deleted by CTA, and subcontracting or third-party labor providers require prior written consent. The contract is firm fixed-price, awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, and will remain in effect for up to 36 months. CTA anticipates expenditures of $352,000, although that amount is informational and is not a purchase commitment. Required submission items include applicable DBE schedules, the Bidders List Excel Form, Bid Proposal Page(s), Required Documentation, the online BidTable (BT-19OX), and the Certifications, Disclosures, and Execution Package. Insurance is required, but no bid deposit or performance bond is required.
