Description
Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government is soliciting aviation insurance for the Louisville Metro Police Department Air Patrol Unit's three helicopters, which support law enforcement, aerial observation, surveillance, search and rescue, emergency response, training, and related public-safety operations. Proposals must provide aviation liability coverage of at least $10,000,000 per occurrence, including deductible options and Medical Payments coverage, with Terrorism Risk Insurance Act coverage shown separately. Proposers must also quote hull coverage for the scheduled value of each aircraft and include the required endorsements identified in Exhibit D, including a pilot extension endorsement. Optional endorsements and enhanced coverage provisions may be proposed. Evaluation is based on proposed cost, proposed coverage and options, and proposed carrier rating. The submission must include proposed cost, insurance coverage and options, proposed carrier rate, required forms, an IT Risk Assessment Questionnaire or SOC Type 2 Audit Report, and other listed certifications and supporting materials.
