Description
The Housing Authority of the County of Dauphin is soliciting bids separately for property insurance, comprehensive general liability insurance, or a combined multi-peril package. Property coverage must provide blanket replacement-cost coverage for the authority’s buildings and contents, with a stated blanket limit of $164,301,919, a $10,000 per-occurrence deductible, and coverage for specified basic perils excluding vandalism. The policy must include required endorsements, including cancellation notice, vacancy, loss-reporting, and waiver-of-subrogation provisions. The comprehensive general liability policy must use an occurrence form and provide a $1,000,000 per-occurrence combined single limit with a $2,000,000 annual aggregate, covering premises and operations, independent contractors, products and completed operations, contractual liability, and personal injury. Bidders may submit separate property or liability bids or a combined multi-peril bid. Participating insurers must be authorized in Pennsylvania and meet specified financial-rating requirements; agents and brokers must be licensed or authorized in Pennsylvania. The requested coverage period is one year beginning December 1, 2026.
