Description
The State of Tennessee is seeking an insurer or qualified contractor to provide group life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance programs. The scope includes basic term life, basic AD&D, voluntary AD&D, voluntary term life for employees and spouses, ported coverage, and child term life riders. The contractor will provide guaranteed premium rates for the contract period and administer coverage for employees, spouses, dependents, and eligible former employees. The requirements also include enrollment and eligibility administration, claims processing, waiver-of-premium and conversion/portability support, premium billing and reconciliation, invoices, reserves, and recurring data exchanges with the State. The solicitation includes detailed enrollment, coverage, claims, rate, and file-layout data, as well as a required cost proposal covering conversion charges, administrative charges, reserve factors, premium rates, voluntary coverage, ported coverage, and child rider rates. Responses must be submitted digitally through the specified Box file-sharing link, with the cost proposal and other required response materials prepared according to the RFP instructions.
