Lafayette Consolidated Government is offering scrap metal material for sale through a sealed-bid procurement. Bids must be submitted on the quotation form provided with the specifications and will be evaluated based on the lowest responsible and responsive bid complying with the bid documents. Each bid must include bid security equal to five percent of the base bid plus additive alternates, provided as a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check. A Corporate Resolution or Certificate of Authority authorizing the signer is also required. Electronic bidders must provide copies of both sides of the check or bid bond. The successful bidder must execute the contract within ten days of award.
