Description
The City of Fairburn is soliciting proposals from qualified service providers for commercial sanitation services within the city limits. The selected contractor will provide labor, equipment, transportation, containers, and materials for the collection, processing for recovery, and disposal of commercial solid waste, recyclable materials, and construction and demolition debris. The scope includes front-end container service for two-, three-, four-, six-, and eight-yard containers; roll-off service for 10-, 12-, 15-, 20-, 30-, and 40-yard open-top containers; compactor services; scheduled and on-demand pickups; container delivery, removal, maintenance, and replacement; loading, hauling, processing, recycling, disposal, and landfill tipping. The contractor must also wash and sanitize compactors using high-pressure equipment, provide regular service Monday through Friday, and submit photographs for overfull, contaminated, or inaccessible containers. A minimum of five years of similar solid-waste collection experience and authorization as a hauler at bid opening are required.
