Description
Lafayette Consolidated Government is soliciting bids for Jefferson Boulevard enhancements, including sidewalk improvements, incidental drainage work, lighting, milling, asphaltic concrete overlay, and related construction. The work must be completed within 215 working days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be submitted on the provided bid form and accompanied by bid security equal to 5% of the base bid plus additive alternates. A corporate resolution or certificate of authority authorizing the signer is required. Contractors bidding $50,000 or more must hold a Louisiana contractor license in the Highway, Street & Bridge Construction classification. The successful contractor must provide performance and labor and material payment bonds in the full contract amount.
