Description
This invitation for bids covers construction improvements to stabilize the Sportsplex Dam outfall and downstream arroyo banks. The work includes clearing and grubbing; excavation, hauling, placement, and compaction; removal of existing shotcrete and other structures; construction of an access road and gate; installation of a 24-inch reinforced concrete storm drain pipe and manhole; construction of shotcrete bank protection, a concrete pipe blanket, Class A wire-enclosed riprap, gabion mattresses, Type L riprap, a rock swale, and native-grass seeding. The contractor must provide construction surveying and staking, traffic control, stormwater and nuisance-flow control, NPDES compliance, SWPPP preparation and maintenance, erosion and dust control, required permits, waste disposal, spill cleanup and reporting, traffic protection, materials testing, and record documentation. Work must comply with the New Mexico Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction and applicable federal, state, and local requirements. The contract allows payment within 45 days after submission of an undisputed payment request.
