Description
Rio Grande City Grulla Independent School District is seeking a contractor to provide health science instruction and hands-on training for students in grades 8–12 across four pathways: Principles of Health Science, Medical Terminology, Health Science Theory/Clinical, and Practicum in Health Science. The requested services include curriculum-aligned educational materials, student uniforms, background checks, skills laboratory and clinical training, and preparation for state certification examinations. The program includes certification pathways for Certified Nursing Assistant and Phlebotomy Technician for 11th-grade students, and Electrocardiograph Technician and Patient Care Technician for 12th-grade students. Vendors must provide itemized per-student pricing for tuition, examination fees, uniforms, and background checks; describe program delivery, certification timelines, and exam scheduling; and provide documentation verifying state-approved curriculum and certification eligibility. The agreement is for one year following school board approval, with up to two optional one-year extensions by mutual agreement.
