Description
Wicomico County Public Schools is soliciting a qualified, Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration-approved driver education provider to serve approximately 240 students. The contractor must deliver the full MVA-approved course, consisting of 30 hours of in-person classroom instruction and 6 hours of one-on-one, in-car instruction, using the current Maryland MVA curriculum. Classroom sessions will be held at designated high schools during non-instructional hours, while behind-the-wheel sessions may occur after school, on weekends, and during school breaks. The contractor must provide qualified MVA-certified instructors, instructional vehicles with dual controls, student-driver markings, MVA inspections, and required insurance. Responsibilities also include student registration and fee collection, attendance and progress tracking, make-up sessions, MVA completion reporting, and coordination with school administrators. Bidders must submit pricing, an insurance certificate, a Maryland certificate of good standing, at least three similar client references, and the completed bid affidavit through the designated procurement portal.
