Description
Union County is soliciting a single-prime contractor to furnish and install 24 new roadway streetlights along Cultivation Circle from Presson Road to the Simpson Events Center. The work includes aluminum lighting poles and foundations, LED exterior luminaires with photoelectric controls, underground conduits and raceways, conductors, grounding and bonding, electrical equipment connections, pavement and site restoration, testing, commissioning, and owner training. The bid is lump sum, with a 10% owner contingency allowance included in the bid form. The contractor must be licensed in North Carolina, submit a 5% bid security, identify applicable subcontractors, and provide required affidavits and qualification information. The work must be completed within 240 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed; performance and payment bonds and insurance are required from the successful bidder.
