Description
The City of Rochester is seeking bids for the lease of refuse compactors. The requirement includes one 26-yard low-profile compactor, six 30-yard self-contained compactors, one 2-yard dock container tipper, and one 2-yard self-contained compactor with a 30-yard container. The lease includes installation and ongoing maintenance services for the duration of the contract. The contract will have a base term commencing on the date of award and ending on September 30, 2028, with an option to extend for one additional year under the same terms and conditions. Pricing is requested for new compactors, compactors less than 5 years old, and compactors less than 10 years old. The city reserves the right to add or delete units and has historically spent approximately $340,000 annually on this contract.
