Description
This solicitation is for streetscape improvements along East Avenue, specifically the section between South Union and Alexander Streets in Rochester, New York. The project involves the removal of existing flexipave areas and selective demolition of concrete sidewalks. It includes excavation and soil import for the installation of tree pits, as well as underdrain and pavement rehabilitation to support tree pit construction. The scope also covers tree planting and the replacement of concrete sidewalks in areas between tree planters and tree pit guards to protect the beds. Minority and Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) contracting goals have been set for this project: a 20.00% goal for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and a 10.00% goal for Women Business Enterprises (WBE). Past performance information is requested for the following business enterprises that have been awarded similar contracts within the last five years: Sealand Contractors, Nardozzi Paving and Construction, Millenium Construction, and Villager Construction.
