Description
The Monroe County Water Authority (MCWA) is soliciting statements of qualifications and price proposals from consultants to investigate and design a permanent asphalt repair for the intersection of Calkins Road and East Henrietta Road in the Town of Henrietta. This project is necessary due to significant pavement heaving and settlement caused by a water main break in January 2026. The scope of work includes design phase services, such as preparing contract documents, obtaining permits, reviewing previous paving projects, determining repair limits, and coordinating with the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) and the City of Rochester's Water Bureau. The consultant will also provide bid phase services, assisting MCWA with answering bidder questions and evaluating bids. Construction phase services include acting as the construction contract manager/administrator, reviewing submittals, preparing payment estimates, attending progress meetings, managing schedules, preparing modifications and change orders, providing resident project representation, and preparing reports and record drawings. Proposals must be submitted in separate sealed envelopes for qualifications and price proposals by 3:00 PM EST on June 25, 2026. The MCWA is exempt from all taxes.
