Description
The Finger Lakes DDSO is seeking bids for the replacement of an exterior precast staircase at their facility located at 1633 Culver Rd, Rochester, NY 14609. This is a New York State public works project, requiring prevailing wages to be paid. The scope of work includes providing a submittal for a code-compliant precast stair set, ordering the new staircase once approved, removing the current staircase, installing the new one, and disposing of the old staircase. The contractor will be responsible for all labor and materials, site cleanup, and ensuring the work is completed in a professional manner within 60 days of award. Work is to be performed between 9 AM and 2 PM, Monday through Friday, with the understanding that the residence may be occupied during these times. All tools and materials must be secured at the end of each workday. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 12:30 PM at the project site. Bids will not be accepted from vendors who do not attend this site visit or arrive late. Bidders must also provide their NYSDOL registration number and Certificate of Registration with their bid submission.
