Description
The Town of Colonie Department of Public Works, Division of Pure Waters, is soliciting bids for an on-call, as-needed project to evaluate and rehabilitate public sanitary sewer mains and laterals. The scope includes CCTV and multi-sensor inspections, heavy sewer cleaning, temporary bypass pumping, traffic maintenance, mobilization, site clearing, and cured-in-place pipe lining using either steam-cured or ultraviolet-cured methods for pipe diameters from 6 to 48 inches. Bidders must bid all items in Groups A, B, and E and may bid Group C, Group D, or both. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, permits, and incidentals; maintain continuous sewer flow; meet specified CIPP experience and quality requirements; comply with New York prevailing-wage and NYSDOL registration requirements; and provide required testing, reports, inspection videos, and warranties. The initial contract is intended to run through October 31, 2029, with no renewal options identified in the project summary, although another provision references possible one-year renewals by mutual consent.
