Description
This Sources Sought notice requests capability statements for a planned general construction project to build a new standalone, two-story, approximately 13,000-square-foot Women's Health Center at the Albany VA Medical Center. The facility will provide primary care, mental health care, imaging, and other specialty services separate from the existing hospital. The anticipated procurement is a competitive firm-fixed-price contract using a design-bid-build approach, with final specifications and drawings to be provided. The project magnitude is estimated at $10 million to $20 million, with an estimated 730-calendar-day duration from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Respondents must submit a capability statement addressing company and business-size information, interest in the project, comparable construction experience, technical skills and key personnel, and self-performed work. The response may include no more than three comparable contracts completed within the past seven years and must include a bonding-company letter of intent documenting available bonding capacity. The response must be no more than eight single-sided pages, single-spaced, in at least 12-point font, and submitted as one application-generated PDF of no more than 4 MB. This is market research only and is not a solicitation or request for bids or proposals.
