Description
The Albany Port District Commission is seeking qualifications from engineering and architectural firms to establish a prequalified list for future small- to medium-scale, unexpected, and emergency port projects. Specific project scopes are not defined, no work is assigned under this RFQ, and the contract will not be awarded in individual discipline categories. Respondents should describe their firm, areas of specialization, staff qualifications, project experience, and the professional services they can provide; expertise in every listed discipline is not required. Addendum #2 limits the submission to an all-inclusive 20-page PDF of no more than 30 MB and directs respondents to omit the Exhibit A Bid Proposal Form and Appendix C forms, which are not required for this RFQ. Current rates for licensed engineering and architectural services should be provided with applicable multipliers and differentials included. Future job orders may involve transportation, environmental, hydraulic, marine, civil, structural, architectural, surveying, project management, and other related services. Subconsultants and collaboration may be considered for future job orders, with conditions determined when individual scopes are developed.
