Description
Washington County Sewer District #2 is soliciting sealed hard-copy bids for demolition of the existing administrative facility at its wastewater treatment plant and construction of a new multifunctional process control and administration facility. Separate contracts are available for plumbing construction and HVAC construction, and bidders must comply with applicable New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation requirements. The bid package requires one original hard copy, one copy, and one electronic bid. A 5% bid security is required, and the successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds and a Non-Collusive Affidavit. The project includes a 20% Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise participation goal, prevailing federal, state, or local wage requirements, Davis-Bacon requirements, equal employment opportunity provisions, and other funding-related compliance documentation. Substantial completion is required within 15 months after commencement of the Contract Times, followed by final payment readiness two months later.
