Description
The Gas Board of the City of Fultondale is soliciting sealed bids for Project No. 385-V, Natural Gas Facilities Relocation, Section 1. The work includes installing approximately 2,025 linear feet of 4-inch polyethylene pipe, 255 linear feet of 2-inch polyethylene pipe, 200 linear feet of 4-inch steel casing by boring, polyethylene valves, pipe connections, a 4-inch steel line stop, and related miscellaneous work. The successful bidder must satisfy the Gas Board's approved contractor requirements and be a licensed Alabama contractor. A bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid is required, although a 5% certified check is also acceptable. The successful bidder must provide 100% performance and labor-and-material payment bonds issued by a surety licensed in Alabama. The bid envelope must display the contractor's license number, expiration date, and classification.
