Description
The City seeks a contractor to furnish labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals to construct street lighting along the project corridor. Work includes installing lighting poles and LED area lights, pole foundations, electrical wiring and conduit, service points, handholes, pull boxes, and related electrical components. The bid documents list quantities including 40 steel poles, 42 LED area lights across four types, and associated electrical infrastructure. The project is a formal construction invitation for bid. Bidders must submit the City’s Bid Form #1, Bid Bond Format (Bid Form #2), and corporate resolution or written evidence of signatory authority. A 5% bid security is required. The apparent low bidder must provide Fair Share Forms 1–4 after notification; these are not due with the initial bid. The estimated construction duration is 180 calendar days, and the designer’s estimate is $760,000.
