Description
The City seeks a contractor to demolish and remove all structures and contents at the property, including foundations, slabs, driveways, fences, and sheds; remove and dispose of debris; and grade the lot so it is clear and suitable for mowing. The asbestos inspection found asbestos-containing sheetrock materials, and the successful bidder must hold an Asbestos Removal and Abatement license and comply with applicable requirements for asbestos and other hazardous materials. The engineer’s estimate is $24,500. The work includes utility coordination and plumbing disconnects, removal, and capping. The contractor must complete the work within 30 days of receiving a notice to proceed. A 5% bid security is required; the successful bidder must provide a 100% performance/payment bond and proof of insurance before contract execution.
