Description
The City seeks a lump-sum bid to demolish and remove all structures and contents at the specified property, including foundations, slabs, privately owned sidewalks and driveways, fences, and sheds. The contractor must remove and properly dispose of debris, coordinate utility disconnects, arrange plumbing disconnections and capping, and level the lot so it does not retain water and is suitable for mowing. Work must comply with applicable regulations for demolition and any hazardous materials; the attached asbestos inspection report found no asbestos in the samples tested. Bids must use the provided bid form and include 5% bid security, which may be a bid bond, cashier’s check, or certified check. The successful bidder must hold a residential construction license and provide the specified insurance certificate. The work must be completed within 30 days of the signed contract or notice to proceed, as stated in the bid materials. A mandatory on-site walk-through is required to be eligible to bid.
