Description
The City of McPherson is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide pre-construction engineering and project management for Northview Trail Phase III. The project includes approximately 0.3 miles of a 10-foot-wide concrete multi-use trail, approximately 0.7 miles of a 5-foot-wide sidewalk, a rectangular rapid flashing beacon, signage, crosswalk striping, and a 175-foot sidewalk connection along Hulse Street. The consultant must be pre-qualified by the Kansas Department of Transportation in the specified pedestrian and bicycle facility design work category and familiar with the project area. The scope includes design services and construction inspection and testing. Technical proposals may not include costs, must not exceed 10 pages including cover sheets and indexes, and must address the proposed schedule, processes and procedures, project manager and engineer, similar project history, staff availability, cost-reduction practices, and any subconsultants. Proposals will be evaluated on schedule, past performance, scope, similar experience, team and project-manager qualifications, and office accessibility.
