Description
The City of Hutchinson is soliciting bids for delivered water maintenance parts. The requested items include Mueller 4-inch, 6-inch, and 8-inch mechanical-joint valves, plus nine Mueller A423 fire hydrants with specified features including a 5 1/4-inch main valve opening, three-way configuration, right-opening 7/8-inch square nut, 5-inch integral Storz connection with non-locking cap, yellow finish, and 6-inch mechanical-joint shoe. Bidders must provide firm delivered pricing, complete and sign all required paperwork, and deliver conforming items to the City's Public Works facility by October 24, 2026. The bid form also requires certifications concerning nondiscrimination and Reno County property taxes.
