Description
The County of Wayne is seeking one or more vendors to prepare, package, and deliver individual hot noon meals to older adults throughout the county Monday through Friday, with frozen or chilled meals for evenings, weekends, holidays, and service disruptions. The selected provider must also prepare, package, and deliver bulk food Monday through Friday to four Senior Lunch Club 60 locations. The County will provide or approve recipes and menus. The scope includes food production, packaging, temperature control, delivery coverage, client well-being checks, emergency planning, meal labeling, nutrition-program data entry, reporting, staff and volunteer training, and compliance with New York food-safety, sanitation, health, and aging-services requirements. Proposals must explain the vendor’s management, delivery, staffing, food-safety, emergency, and countywide coverage approaches and include relevant experience, references, technical and cost proposals, and required certifications. The contract period is three years, with two additional one-year renewal options.
