Description
The Town of Fulton is soliciting bids for the replacement of the Heathen Creek Road Culvert over House Creek. This project involves constructing a new 39-foot span multi-girder bridge with integral abutments and steel H-piles. Roadway reconstruction will extend 160 feet on Heathen Creek Road, 300 feet on the southbound lane of West Fulton Road (CR 4), and 50 feet on the northbound lane of West Fulton Road. The project also includes the installation of new steel bridge railing and transition bridge railing. This is a State Aid Project that will follow the NYSDOT Standard Specifications. The solicitation includes specific contracting goals for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) at 6.00%, Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) at 10.00%, and Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) at 15.00%. There are no Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goals for this project. The use of NYSDOT approved civil rights reporting software, Equitable Business Opportunities (EBO), is required. Bids must be submitted by 9:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, to 1168 Bear Ladder Road, West Fulton, NY 12071. Bids will be opened publicly at 9:30 a.m. on the same date and location. A bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the base bid is required. The successful bidder will be required to furnish insurance and Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the accepted bid amount. Work may begin on or after April 1, 2027, with substantial completion by September 30, 2027, and final completion by November 12, 2027.
