Description
Cherokee County is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to design, supply, install, and commission a complete liquefied petroleum gas (LPG/propane) fueling infrastructure system for a new transit facility. The scope includes a 1,990-gallon ASME-coded propane storage tank, underground piping, hazardous-location electrical infrastructure, emergency shutdown equipment, a dual-sided dispenser capable of simultaneous fueling, permits, inspections, testing, commissioning, staff training, and project documentation. The contractor must comply with applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including Federal Transit Administration requirements, Buy America provisions, NFPA 58, NFPA 70, OSHA standards, Georgia regulations, and Cherokee County codes. The proposal must address the technical approach, equipment, project schedule, pricing, qualifications, comparable project experience, references, subcontractors, licenses, insurance, bonds, DBE participation, and required federal and state certifications. The project includes a 6.08% DBE participation goal and requires performance and payment bonds after award, each equal to 100% of the contract amount.
