Description
The City of Boise Public Works Department is soliciting sealed electronic bids for replacement of approximately 1,340 linear feet of 12-inch AC sewer pipe with 12-inch PVC along Kendall Street and North Eagleson Street. The work includes replacement of approximately 165 linear feet of 6-inch service line, installation or modification of four concrete sanitary sewer manholes, connections to existing manholes, CCTV inspection, sewage bypass systems, exploratory excavation, surface restoration, mobilization, sanitary facilities, and construction traffic control. The bid schedule also includes asphalt restoration and related roadway work. Bidders must submit a signed electronic bid through JAGGAER and provide bid security equal to 5 percent of the bid amount. The solicitation requires acknowledgment of Addendum 1, which corrects the existing pipe description from VCP to AC and clarifies that the manholes are concrete. An equal-or-equivalent request is required only when proposing an alternative item.
