Description
Pinal County seeks a contractor to construct an approximately 8,000-square-foot, two-story addition to an existing community center. The work includes a steel-framed, masonry building with community and meeting rooms, offices, restrooms, an elevator, fire-sprinkler work extending into the existing building, and associated mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. The existing building is to remain operational during construction. The scope also includes demolition and modifications at the existing building connection, site utilities, parking and drive improvements, landscaping and irrigation, and related grading and drainage. The contractor must provide labor, materials, and equipment, include the specified $400,000 allowance in the base bid, and complete the work within 420 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. A bid security equal to 10% of the total bid price is required; performance and labor-and-material payment bonds, each for the full contract amount, are required from the successful bidder after award.
