Description
The Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission (ICRC) is soliciting proposals from qualified architectural firms to develop a conceptual renovation plan for the recreation center located at Crooked Creek Park. The scope of services includes preparing a conceptual renovation design that addresses key renovations such as adding new basketball courts, expanding the fitness area, renovating existing rooms, improving storage, adding multipurpose rooms, reconfiguring the front desk and lobby, and modernizing the HVAC system. The plan will also involve repurposing the racquetball court footprint and updating all entrances, doors, floors, walls, ceilings, and fixtures. The project process includes site analysis, stakeholder coordination, and preparation of the renovation plan. The selected firm will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment, and will need to demonstrate their ability to meet the intended schedule and budget. Proposals must also address project timeline, sub-consultants for permitting and surveying, and the firm's qualifications and experience with similar projects.
