Description
This solicitation is for runway friction testing services at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, including the Air Base (JB CHS-AB) and North Auxiliary Airfield (JBCHS-NAAF). The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, management, supervision, vehicles, labor, tools, materials, travel, and safety equipment to perform recurring aircraft runway inspections using Continuous Friction Measuring Equipment (CFME). The services include test scheduling, equipment calibration, testing coordination, friction inspection and testing at specified speeds (40 mph and 60 mph in both directions), retesting if necessary, and final report generation. The contract period spans from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2031, with a base year and four option years. Offerors must submit a completed price list and adhere to all requirements detailed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and other solicitation attachments. Questions are due by 12:00 PM EST on June 13, 2026, and offers are due by 2:00 PM EST on July 15, 2026. The solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside.
