Description
This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for a Counterbalance (CB) Forklift Simulator. The simulator will integrate with the existing training system at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina. The purpose of this simulator is to provide prisoners with vocational training while maintaining maximum security within the facility. It offers uninterrupted training regardless of mechanical issues or weather and includes an integrated OSHA safety course. The current operation of two similar simulators from the same vendor ensures software compatibility, a familiar user interface, and streamlined technical support across all training platforms. The required Period of Performance is 60 days from the date of award.
