Description
The City of Hazlehurst is seeking qualifications from an aviation consulting firm to provide on-call airport planning, environmental, engineering, architectural, construction administration, and resident inspection services for projects at Hazlehurst Municipal Airport. The selected consultant will enter into a five-year master agreement and negotiate individual sub-agreements on an assignment-by-assignment basis. No price proposals, fees, overhead rates, or other cost information should be included. Potential work includes funding applications and capital improvement program documents; airfield drainage, pavement, lighting, navigational aid, runway and taxiway safety improvements; airport buildings, roadways, parking lots, fencing, security systems, obstruction removal, land acquisition, and related planning and environmental work. Responding firms must hold current Georgia Department of Transportation prequalification in Airport Design, Airport Electrical, and Airport Construction Administration and Observation, and must be able to provide plans stamped by a Georgia-licensed professional engineer. The submission requires a statement of qualifications addressing the firm and team, organization, key personnel, relevant airport experience, proximity, references, regulatory familiarity, workload, and related evaluation criteria.
