Description
The Village seeks a consultant to assess existing wayfinding signage and navigation challenges and develop a comprehensive signage system. The work includes design guidelines, a placement strategy, branding alignment, consideration of electrical enhancements, schematic designs, cost estimates, and phased implementation strategies. The system should guide visitors from major corridors to local roads and municipal destinations, with particular consideration for downtown and gateway signage, and reflect the Village's character and identity. The selected firm will provide planning, design, and implementation services and may need to coordinate with other agencies. Qualifications will be evaluated on firm experience, technical approach, staff capabilities, workload capacity, and references/past performance. Responses must include a Letter of Interest and Statement of Qualifications, including firm and personnel information, relevant project experience from the last five years, and a project-specific approach. The total submission is limited to 40 pages. The anticipated project timetable is six months or as determined by the Village and selected firm.
