Description
Glenbard Township High School District 87, acting through Gilbane Building Company as construction manager, is soliciting lump-sum proposals for a new main office and entrance addition with a secure vestibule at Glenbard South High School, along with extensive 2027/2028 renovations. The work includes renovations to life skills and nurse suites, administrative and counseling spaces, conference rooms, art and cafeteria areas, learning commons, and staff cafeteria, plus selective replacement of windows, doors, and exterior stoops. Bid packages include demolition; concrete; masonry; structural steel and miscellaneous metals; carpentry; millwork and casework; roofing; metal panels; glass and glazing; framing, drywall, and acoustics; painting; flooring and ceramic tile; food service equipment; site demolition, earthwork, and utilities; asphalt paving and striping; and landscaping. Construction is scheduled to begin in May 2027, with substantial completion by August 2028. A 10% bid bond is required, and performance and labor and material payment bonds of 100% may be required from the awarded bidder. Bidders must be pre-qualified, and proposals will be submitted through Procore Bidding.
