DUPAGE COUNTY NOTICE TO BIDDERS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that proposals will be received for the Contract REPAIR OR REPLACE PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM AT THE CARE CENTER 26-093-OHSEM on or before October 23, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. Solicitation documents, including specifications, may be obtained by email at sara.rogers@dupagecounty.gov or at www.DemandStar.com. Description
DuPage County is seeking a contractor to assess the existing public address system at the DuPage Care Center and then repair or replace it to provide audible announcements throughout approximately 271,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor areas. The scope includes equipment assessment, recommendations, furnishing and installing equipment, concealed conduit and wiring, testing, removal or decommissioning of existing equipment when applicable, staff coordination, training, warranty information, and support and maintenance options. The proposed system must provide 75–80 decibel sound levels, avoid individual speaker volume controls and audible background noise, support additional speakers, and be compatible with the Campus Wide Announcement System. Installation must be performed by factory-authorized personnel using UL-listed equipment. The contract has a one-year initial term beginning in December 2026, with up to three mutually agreed one-year renewals, for a maximum term of four years. Proposals must include technical and price submissions as separate email attachments, along with the required forms and disclosures. No bid bond is required.
