Description
The City of Umatilla, Florida, is soliciting sealed bids for the CDBG 23 NR Water Main Improvements project. The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials to construct approximately 3,960 linear feet of 6-inch PVC water main and 1,750 linear feet of 10-inch PVC/FPVC water main using conventional installation and directional drilling. The scope also includes fire hydrants, associated appurtenances, cutting and capping existing mains, reconnecting existing water services, connecting to existing mains, and restoration. The project has an engineer's estimate/budget of $632,000. Davis-Bacon wage requirements apply, and fusible PVC is required for HDD; HDPE is not an approved alternate. The project requires a bid bond at bid submission and performance and payment bonds upon award. No insurance is required. Substantial completion is required within 120 days, with final payment readiness within 150 days after contract times commence.
