Description
Dallas Area Rapid Transit is seeking a contractor to disconnect and remove one nonoperational gas-fired heater and supply and install one new 150,000 Btu/hr. unit heater using existing infrastructure. The work includes reconnecting gas, electrical, venting, and control wiring; providing certified technicians, tools, equipment, and materials; and disposing of the removed equipment. The contractor must comply with OSHA requirements, DART safety protocols, and manufacturer standards, including lockout/tagout procedures. The completed installation must be operational and tested, and the contractor must submit a service report documenting the work, test results, and recommendations. Work is expected to take one business day, subject to parts availability and coordination with DART maintenance personnel. The award is to one vendor offering the lowest acceptable pricing.
