Description
The contractor must furnish, install, and commission an expansion of the existing public address system at Building 1231. The work includes one TOA BG-2120 mixer amplifier, 67 two-by-two-foot drop-in ceiling speakers, one eight-inch square ceiling-mounted speaker, cabling, connectors, and other accessories; splitting the existing system into separate circuits; installing and connecting the new amplifier and speakers to the existing Valcom V-9972 universal paging interface; and testing and commissioning the completed system. The contractor must provide warranty paperwork after commissioning, and 75% of material purchased must be made in the United States. The contractor is responsible for all management, personnel, equipment, supplies, tools, transportation, materials, supervision, licenses, and nonpersonal services required for performance. The work must be performed during the stated facility operating hours unless otherwise coordinated, with possible after-hours testing. The contractor must provide equipment submittals, delivery information, project milestones, and completion documentation according to the post-award schedule. The solicitation is a total small-business set-aside and evaluates price and technical capability on approximately equal bases.
