Description
The City of Conway seeks a single contractor to provide comprehensive employee benefits insurance brokerage, consulting, advisory, and administrative support services for its employee health insurance and benefits program. Services include evaluating benefit offerings and funding alternatives; marketing coverage to qualified carriers and service providers; evaluating proposals; negotiating rates and contract terms under the direction of Human Resources; supporting enrollment, eligibility, billing, claims, and carrier communications; providing compliance assistance; developing employee communications and education; and delivering data analysis, benchmarking, reporting, renewal analysis, and compensation disclosures. The contractor must have at least five years of comparable employee benefits brokerage and consulting experience, including experience with at least three Arkansas municipalities, governmental entities, public-sector employers, or similarly situated public employers with a minimum of 250 employees. The contractor must identify and provide qualifications for the proposed account team, maintain applicable Arkansas insurance licenses and authorizations, and submit a transition and implementation plan after contract execution. Pricing and compensation information must be entered exclusively through the AR Bid Line Items tab. The initial term is one year, with up to six additional one-year renewals, for a maximum aggregate term of seven consecutive years.
